Storage & Handling Guidelines

Storage & Handling Guidelines

This page provides general laboratory handling guidance. Always follow applicable laws, regulations, and your facility SOPs.

Lyophilized materials

  • Long-term storage: typically -20°C (or colder) when appropriate.
  • Short-term storage: 2–8°C may be acceptable depending on the material and timeframe.
  • Protect from moisture, light, and repeated temperature cycling.

Reconstitution (laboratory context)

  • Use sterile, laboratory-grade solvent appropriate for your protocol.
  • Label vials clearly (compound, concentration, date).
  • Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles; aliquot when appropriate.
